ACEweb 3.5.028 Released

Postby Cheryl » Wed Mar 23, 2016 2:08 pm

  • ACEweb 3.5.017 and newer require updated DLLs, included in the update zip.
  • May require reregistering the ACEweb server. If you update ACEweb and get a 'BSTRToString Failed on Response. Err code = ffffffff:' message when loading an ACEweb page (e.g. showgroups.awp), please see the of the "BSTRToString Failed on Response. Err code = ffffffff:" section of the Troubleshooting General ACEweb Errors help topic to resolve the error.

This release includes these new features/bug fixes:

Added an option to person.awp to pop up a warning message if the user changes first or last name on an existing record. Requires editing of person.awp. Please contact your ACEware technician for more information.

Added a new INI setting to ACEweb.ini called MarketerEmail. If an email address is entered in it, the Catalog request notices will be sent to that email address instead of the email addresses entered in the OfficeEmail INI setting.

Updated the failed registration routine to send separate emails for any failed registrations in a transaction. E.g. one of the courses on the user's Cart fills up in between them adding it to the Cart and paying for the transaction.

Updated various SendMail routines to support the MailLag setting of awSys.ini.

Fixed an error that generates a Nothing to Display message on the Transaction Completed page. The issue only affects customers using the payment service with the Relay Response option.

Fixed an error with the append values to Name Comments option available with express registration templates that was generating an error if the value appended was over a certain length.

Fixed various issues that caused the shoupcls() function to fail to generate a course list under certain conditions.
