Course Module

Key features of the Course module:
- Deactivate courses when the enrollment period is over so courses will no longer show in the regular registration routines. Lock courses when the accounting year is over so no changes can be made.
- Clone courses you offer semester after semester. Cloning a course copies the information into a new course record. All you need to do is enter the dates!
- Email module users can designate an attachment to be emailed with all course registration confirmations, and identify staff members that should receive an email when someone enrolls in the course.
- 18 user-defined fields that your organization can use to collect data specific to your organization (e.g. proposal due date, course coordinator, etc.).
- Set up an unlimited number of main registration fees and additional/optional fees. You can also set additional fees as mandatory--they will automatically be added when someone registers in the course.
- Assign an unlimited number of instructors to a course with their pay information (e.g. number of hours teaching, hourly wage, pay date, etc.).
- Enter course comments that can be printed on registration confirmations, internal comments for staff members, and warning messages that pop up whenever the course record is accessed.
- ACEweb module users can determine if a course is published on the web, the number of days after the course begins that it stays on the web (i.e. web users can enroll in it), if waitlisting is allowed for the course, and more.
- A "Road Warrior" procedure that allows you to export a course from the system (including current registrations, payments, etc.). You can then load the course on a notebook computer and take it to conferences for onsite registrations.
