New/Updated Features

  • When viewing the Name records associated with a specific code (Name Draw button), you can sort the view by Last Name, Firm or Add Date.
  • When you change the zip code on a Name record, the system will ask you if you want to also updated the County--IF--the County field on the zip code record has an entry.
  • You can set a custom salutation when sending mass emails using the DOEMAIL() function.
  • The Find Additional Reports window shows when the report was last used.
  • If you void a payment in a group, the system will ask if you want to void all payments with that same Receipt Number.
  • When a payment is voided, the original payment type is stamped into the Pay Note field.
  • Student Manager users must be a level 5 or higher to see un-encrypted information on screens (credit card number, SSN).
  • On the Fly and Additional/Optional Fee names can now be cleaned up with the Data Cleanup tool.
  • If you are using the Wait between Emails option when sending mass emails or quick emails to a course, your values are now saved. Previously, you had to re-enter the information each time you ran the email procedure.
  • Some customers were accidentally cloning Pocket Ledger and Budget records when they cloned a course. The default answer for these options when cloning a course is now 'No'.
  • The Create a copy of this report before moving box is automatically checked on the Move/Rename Report screen.

New/Updated Fields

Catalog Screen
  • CAACTIVE - a 1 digit logical type field to identify if the catalog record is an active record.
Course Screen-ACEweb Info Tab
  • COBILLAG - a 3 digit numeric field to determine how many days before the course begins that billings via ACEweb will no longer be accepted (e.g. if -30 is entered, students can choose the invoicing option up to 30 days before the course begins. After that, they must pay with a credit card.).
  • COMERCNUM - a 15 character field to enter the bank merchant number associated with the course. If a merchant number is entered, when students enroll in the course and pay by credit card, the money will be sent to the entered account.
Course Screen-Fees Tab
  • FEEXP - has been lengthened to 3 digits.
  • FEDESC - has been lengthened to 30 characters.
Names Screen-Main Tab
  • NMCHAR1 - a 50 character field with a user-defined label that can be used for custom purposes. Enable/label on Name Preferences. Note: if this field is enabled, you will only see 1 line of the Name User Defined Display option.
  • NMSALUT - has been lengthened to 10 characters.
Firm Screen
  • FMSIC - has been lengthened to 9 characters.
Register Screen-Main Tab
  • RGPROXYID - a 9 character field to hold the ID number of the individual who enrolled the registrant via ACEweb's Proxy Registration option.
  • RGFEEDESC - has been lengthened to 30 characters.
Registration Additional Charges (Regfees)
  • RFDESC - has been lengthened to 30 characters.
In addition, a field was added to the Password Maintenance screen to display the date when the user last logged in.


Fixes

  • Fixed bug that allowed you to create blank Name records from the Brief Name Entry screen.
  • Fixed bug that allowed you to create blank Faculty records under certain conditions.

New/Updated Report Functions

  • SHOUPCLS() - a fifth parameter has been added that allows you to use a condition to return courses based on field(s) from Course table.
