New Features

  • ACEweb now supports making payments to existing registrations.
  • ACEweb now supports the Inventory Items option.
  • You can now specify the merchant ID# associated with the course in the Merchant Number field on the Course ACEweb Info tab. Note: this option has some restrictions.
  • Cut off billing a set number of days before the course begins with the "Lag Days" for Billing on ACEweb field on the Course ACEweb Info tab. (e.g. if -30 is entered, students can choose the invoicing option up to 30 days before the course begins. After that, they must pay with a credit card.).
  • The Calendar Search option has been expanded to include course code matches. Users can now search on a course title keyword (as before) and course codes (entire code or first few characters).
  • Instructor Access: customize the course information shown in the list of courses instructor is teaching.
  • Include an .ICS calendar attachment file with session information that registrants can import into their Calendar software program (IF the software program supports .ics files).
  • XCourseStatus.htm is a new template that displays individual course information in a different format from the standard CourseStatus.htm template.
  • ACEweb now supports the Generic Membership Fee option in Student Manager.
  • A new ACEweb optional module allows you to run alternate interfaces from a single ACEweb install.
  • Display a customized Welcome page to ACEweb users, including a list of upcoming courses that match their areas of interest.
  • Customers can now stipulate password requirements: minimum length and required characters.
  • If using the Email/Password login option: ACEweb now prevents duplicate Email/Password combinations when creating new student records or changing the password on existing records. If the entered email address/password combination is already in use, the system displays this message: "Another account with the same email address is already using this password. Please select a unique password.".
  • Force Password Change: if blank passwords are disallowed (:NOB value in the UserIDSource INI setting), and a user who has no password set logs on, they will immediately be shown the Change Password screen and asked to enter a non-blank value. After entering a valid password, they will be returned to the next point in their working process.

Fixes

  • Fixed bug that would erroneously report a course as being on the enrollment card if its code is a substring of another course's code, and that course was already on the card (e.g. if you added 08SACE010FRE, then tried to add 08SACE010).
  • Fixed bug that would send duplicate copies of a single attachment under certain conditions.
  • Fixed bug that caused the expiration of Early Bird fees to fail under certain conditions.
